Gaagige-Mikwendaagoziwag MMIA Duluth Fund
“This Indigenous-led and grassroots fund has been established to fill a really important gap to help us address injustices, and allowing law enforcement agencies to solve these violent crimes against Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people, while bringing justice and healing to our region” Alicia Kozlowski, [Duluth] Community Relations Officer said. “This is not only an Indigenous issue. This is a community issue. This is a human issue. We don't want to be invisible anymore because that's how we disappear.”
Gaagige-Mikwendaagoziwag means: “They are remembered forever”.
This fund is led by the groups. Native Lives Matter Coalition and Mending the Sacred Hoop and is supported by the City of Duluth.

The Unity Fund is a community-led effort to build, strengthen and create opportunities for advancement in African Heritage communities through action, engagement and education.
The purpose of the fund is to serve as a catalyst to remove social and racial barriers to African American communities' opportunities to participate fully in—and contribute to—the social and economic life of Duluth and Superior

H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia
The H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia (Hand Over The Decision It'S Healthcare) exists to ensure reproductive freedom, body autonomy and abortion access for all people in the Northland. To accomplish this goal, the Militia provides financial support, community education, and engages in political action.
The H.O.T.D.I.S.H. Militia is a partner of WE Health Clinic in Duluth, MN. This committee exists to break down the barriers that stand in the way of obtaining abortions and claiming the right of each individual to reign over their own uterus.
